Whizz through aromatic rosemary fields, past dams, across streams and the occasional patch of indigenous woodland. Great single-track will test your skills as you negotiate wooden bridges, drop offs, speedy ruin runs and tight forest turns.

An initial 10KM climb will drive your heart rate up before you’re slotted into 2.5KM of stunning singletrack. After some fun, you’ll climb again and earn a high-speed descent and more singletrack Gees before returning to Holla.

Giba’s FNB Wines2Whales Champions Chase segment features super-smooth flowing lines, tight berms and wooden bridges, while the Free Ride section offers #SeriousGEES by the bucket load! Being handmade, the trail allows for some tight cornering but all the hazards are clearly marked with white paint.
The FNB Wines2Whales Champions Chase Tygerberg segment opens with a climb before dropping into fast and fun singletracks called Puff Adder and The Gorge. After some fun, you’ll head up to the top of Hoogekraal Hill where uninterrupted views of Table Mountain, Robben Island and the City Bowl are on offer. Then it’s all down! Permits can be bought at Hoogekraal.
